Mister Fisher delivered the business services and technology briefing, reporting on upcoming facilities projects and the district
eployment of safety-monitoring tools.
"First thing on my list of discussion topics is the roof replacement Carver... It'll start on December 29," Fisher said, providing a schedule that targets completion in mid-January. He told the board the New Mountain septic repair will begin the afternoon of Dec. 19 after students depart so contractors can remove and replace the existing tank and bury the new unit.
Fisher reviewed safety-monitoring platforms the district has adopted. Syntegix generated 13 alerts in November, mostly associated with test days and a small number tied to a medical incident and an altercation. He also summarized Evolve report rates (about 9–11% in recent months) and a SchoolDog audit program that has produced more than 900 site walks districtwide in the school year. Fisher noted SchoolDog records include categorized "praises" (25%) and "concerns" (17%), with unauthorized-entry items among the top concerns; board members asked if the data can be broken down by individual school, and Fisher said it can.
Board members thanked staff for the monitoring detail and asked for continued updates on project timelines and any operational disruptions during winter break.
