Planning staff presented a final plat determination for Communities Of Burwell Phase 14 and recommended advertising a public hearing for Jan. 20, 2026.
The staff presentation said the final plat (File 2509-279) proposes "48 residential lots on approximately 16.8 acres to be served by public water and sewer," and noted that county engineer Doug Smith deemed the project compliant with the subdivision ordinance on Dec. 1, 2025. The developer is listed as Burwell Properties LLC; the surveyor is Roberts Land Surveying. Mike Roberts identified himself as the project representative.
Planning Commission member Michael Bush moved to accept the staff recommendation and advertise a public hearing on Jan. 20, 2026; the motion was seconded by "mister Goff." The presiding official called for a voice vote and recorded the motion as carried.
