The Public Works Committee voted Dec. 4 to forward Amendment No. 1 to the on‑call service provider agreement with Mountain to Coast to the Dec. 16 city council consent calendar with a recommendation to approve.
Public works staff presented the amendment, describing the original Dec. 2024 agreement with Mountain to Coast for on‑call survey and topographic services with a $49,000 not‑to‑exceed amount. Staff requested a $75,000 increase to that agreement, bringing the total not‑to‑exceed amount to $124,000, and proposed extending the contract to Dec. 31, 2026 to cover anticipated right‑of‑way and project needs.
Presenter Bill told the committee that on‑call services are typically billed to the specific projects that use them and that the amendment will provide flexibility to meet anticipated needs in 2026. “This amendment … includes an increase in the original contract by $75,000. The total agreement is not to exceed amount of a 124,000,” Bill said.
The committee moved, seconded and approved by voice vote placing the amendment on the Dec. 16 consent calendar and recommending mayoral authorization to sign if council approves.
