The Caddo Parish Commission adopted a special resolution honoring Cheryl McGee upon her retirement as Director of Human Resources after 26 years of public service.

Commissioners read the resolution into the record and presented McGee with a plaque. In remarks, McGee thanked staff, named family members present and reflected on her decades of service; several commissioners offered personal tributes, recalling her professionalism and institutional knowledge. Administrator and staff noted McGee's role in managing the human resources function and assisting other administrators during transitions.

The resolution was adopted by the Commission and the presentation was followed by remarks from colleagues and staff. The Commission said it will provide a framed resolution and plaque to McGee and noted her willingness to volunteer in the future.

Separately, the meeting adopted several other special recognitions in a batch vote and presented guests for those items.
