Chief procurement officer Carrie Douglas asked the board for permission to issue annual CMP solicitations for food and related cafeteria supplies for the 2026–2027 school year and to seek vendors to process USDA Child Nutrition commodities. The board approved both solicitations by motion and electronic vote.

Douglas also presented the result of RFP 26-15 for a technology catalog contract: three vendors responded and two met the RFP requirements. The board approved awarding the contract to CDW-G and to Tower Technology Solutions (dual-award) following a motion and vote. Douglas noted that no single vendor offered every required product, which prompted the dual-award recommendation.

The actions allow procurement staff to proceed with formal solicitations and contract awards to ensure cafeteria operations and technology supply chains are in place for the 2026–2027 school year.
