The board entered executive session to discuss employment matters permitted by state law and returned to open session at 7:11 p.m. The chair read that the executive session addressed employment as provided by Title 25, Oklahoma Statute section 307(B)(1), and that those present were board members and Mr. Kempnick; the chair reported no action was taken in executive session.

Immediately after returning to open session, a motion was made and seconded to approve the employment of Robin Gillum as assistant principal for PKMS and SCC for the 2026-27 school year. The board approved the appointment on a roll-call vote with affirmative responses recorded. Board members welcomed Gillum following the vote.
