The Town Council recorded the following formal actions on Dec. 9, 2025:

1) Council reorganization (renomination): Motion to renominate Brian Dombkowski as mayor for 2026 — mover: Council member Paul (speaker 7); second: (recorded). Roll call: Aberich (yes), Brown (yes), Gold (yes), Wall (yes), Mayor Dombkowski (yes). Outcome: approved unanimously.

2) Consent calendar: Motion to approve consent items 1, 4 and 5 as presented; items 2 and 3 were pulled for discussion. Consent item 2 (road rehabilitation funding adjustment from ~$475,000 to ~$676,000 estimate) was discussed and approved by roll call (votes recorded as yes by all members present). Outcome: approved.

3) Consent item 3: Resolution authorizing the Town Manager to execute a maintenance agreement with Caltrans for Woodside Road bicycle and pedestrian improvements (staff recommended; project budget $800,000). Outcome: motion to approve carried on roll‑call vote; council approved. (Council also directed staff to ask Caltrans whether modest design revisions were possible without risking funding and to report back in January.)

4) New business B: Introduction of ordinance amending Woodside Municipal Code chapter 150 to adopt the 2025 California Building Standards Code; council moved to introduce the ordinance and set a second reading. Outcome: introduced; second reading scheduled.

6) New business D: Motion to introduce an ordinance prohibiting gas‑powered leaf blowers in most zoning districts (effective 07/01/2026), with zoning‑map exemptions for SCP/open‑space areas; second reading set for Jan. 13, 2026. Outcome: introduced.

The council also received the LAFCO municipal service review presentation and will provide draft comments as requested by LAFCO.
