The Sweetwater City Council reallocated votes for the Nolan County Central Appraisal District board after one previously selected candidate withdrew.

Mayor (unnamed) explained the options: either redo the entire allocation or reassign the 60 votes previously cast for the withdrawn candidate. The council agreed to distribute those 60 votes as 15 votes to each of four remaining candidates the city had previously backed. The mayor stated that adjustment brought Mark Reeves’ total to 97 votes and left the remaining two previously selected members with 75 votes each; the council recorded the votes as cast.

A council member moved to adopt the redistribution and the motion received a second; the council then voted to record the redistributed allocations.
