The Octorara Area School District Board accepted multiple resignations and approved routine personnel actions at its Dec. 8 meeting.

Resignations accepted included Mallory Griffin (math teacher and fall cheerleading coach), Marissa Templeton (varsity girls basketball assistant coach) and Christina Ruth (head track and field coach); effective dates were provided for some notices. Each resignation was approved by motion and voice vote.

The board approved supplemental bonus-point payments for named staff at $620 per point: David Thaler (1 point), Robin Lewis (3 points), Tabitha Wallace (2 points), Andrew Reynolds (3 points), and Kiara Wadsworth (1 point). The board also approved a salary change for Elizabeth Scroggins following graduate credits earned; the change was read into the record as an adjustment in step and annual salary.

All personnel items were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board’s personnel committee and administration will follow up on replacement staffing and posting as needed.
