Julia Klein, Sunnyvale zone administrator, approved a tentative two‑lot parcel map for 1027 West El Camino during an administrative hearing on Dec. 10, citing staff findings and the application materials.
Cindy, the staff planner, told the hearing the application (PLNG20250122) would subdivide the site so each previously approved building could be financed separately and that staff recommended approval. “The application is for a 2 lot subdivision,” Cindy said, and staff noted a correction to the notice that the correct exemption is “Class 15,” which applies to minor subdivisions.
The approval does not change the previously granted special development permit or the conditions attached to the earlier planning approval, Julia Klein said. “I am approving the parcel map,” she stated, and added the decision is appealable to the planning commission within 15 calendar days.
The public hearing on the parcel map drew no public speakers. An applicant representative told the hearing Cindy had covered the proposal and had no additional comments. Staff confirmed the corrected Condition/notice language will be typed into the project record if the approval is finalized.
The zone administrator’s ruling completes the administrative review for this parcel‑map application; any interested party may file an appeal to the planning commission within 15 calendar days of the decision.
