Vigo County commissioners on Dec. 8 approved routine meeting business, a series of vendor contracts for county facilities and infrastructure, and celebrated receiving a full Community Crossings grant match that county staff said will fund road work.

The meeting opened with approval of minutes from Dec. 1, 2025, a claims docket of $1,490,585.73 and a payroll docket of $1,572,326.49. Speaker 3 asked commissioners to approve the dockets; motions were made and passed on voice vote.

County staff described contract adjustments and new procurements across departments. County staff described obsolete parts, ongoing leaks, and the need to maintain emergency systems as reasons for the work.
