The West ERDA Improvement District voted to elect Councilman Ty Hoffman as chairman and adopted a fiscal-year 2026 budget during its meeting that began at 5:08 p.m. The board approved procedural changes and previous meeting minutes before taking the chair election and budget vote.
Councilman Wardle called the meeting to order and conducted a roll call that listed members Hoffman, Thomas, Stromberg, Hamner and Wardle as present. The board first approved a motion to strike Item A from the agenda after a motion and second and a voice vote in favor was recorded.
The board then considered Item 3b, the October 2025 Westwood Improvement Meeting minutes. A motion to approve the minutes was made, seconded and approved by voice vote; no adjustments were recorded.
On the election of a chair, members moved and seconded a nomination of Councilman Ty Hoffman. The motion passed on a voice vote and Hoffman was elected chairman.
Under Item 5 the board considered Resolution 2025-2 to adopt the fiscal year 2026 budget. A county staff presenter noted that a public hearing on the budget had been held Oct. 21. A motion to adopt the resolution was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The meeting transcript does not provide a clear dollar amount for the West ERDA budget in the West ERDA portion of the record.
The meeting adjourned after the votes.
