Judge Tammy Long Hayward presided over a Dec. 9, 2025 arraignment and jail/probation calendar in Clayton County State Court 304, accepting a series of negotiated pleas and imposing concurrent sentences, credit for time served and conditions including no-contact orders and program requirements.
The court accepted negotiated dispositions for multiple defendants. Nasir Ishmael Dawson entered pleas in two cases and was sentenced to 12 months with six months to serve on the principal counts, the terms to run concurrently across cases, with two days' credit for time served and a condition barring contact with the alleged victim and the child. Judge Hayward summarized the sentence as concurrent terms and said probation and custody issues would be handled through the appropriate offices.
Fleming Lamar Thompson entered no-contest pleas to family-violence-related counts; the court accepted the negotiated recommendation of 12 months with 25 days credit for time served, enrollment in a family-violence intervention program and a prohibition on contact with the victims. Donterious Lamar Williams pleaded guilty to battery-family-violence counts under a negotiated agreement the judge accepted; the disposition included 12 months with 25 days credit for time served, the balance probated, a $300 fine (plus surcharges), 40 hours of community service and no-contact conditions until visitation or custody is set through superior court.
Markelle Dewan Henry pleaded no contest to simple battery and criminal trespass; the court accepted a negotiated sentence of 12 months with 22 days' credit for time served, balance suspended, and ordered no contact with named victims Erica Brewington and Annalise (Boitnott/Boitnott), with a limited no-violent-or-harassing-contact exception for a listed relative. Marquise Sanchez Adams pleaded no contest to criminal trespass connected to an airport security checkpoint; the court imposed 12 months with two days' credit for time served, suspended balance and a restriction barring return to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport without a valid boarding pass or ticket on the day of travel.
Michelle Shaw pleaded no contest to county disorderly conduct stemming from a school incident; counts 1 and 2 were nol-prossed under the agreement and the court accepted six months with two days' credit for time served and a suspended balance so long as there are no new state-law violations. Brandy Harris pleaded no contest to public indecency and criminal trespass for an incident reported on MARTA; the court accepted concurrent 12-month terms with 28 days' credit for time served and suspended balance, and the judge noted Harris "is benefiting from the medication."
Across several cases the judge emphasized rehabilitation and conditions: "You should be on the street right now. You shouldn't be in jail because you've been in compliance," Hayward told Jared Major after the probation officer described partial compliance. Addressing fathers in family-related cases she urged parental responsibility: "Be a father. Be the dad." Those admonitions accompanied acceptance of negotiated pleas that included treatment, no-contact orders and program requirements where agreed by the parties.
Several defendants were directed to follow probation instructions and to contact probation or the sheriff's office for bond refunds where a third party posted bond. The court concluded the calendar after the last case was resolved.
