Chief Comston gave an informational update on the commission’s National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliance, reporting 5,135 online courses and 251 in-person courses completed in the last quarter and noting continued course offerings next quarter.

The commission had no public comments and approved the minutes from the Aug. 8, 2025 meeting after Doctor Khan moved approval. An agenda item titled "Lessons learned from cybersecurity incident" (Director Galluzzi) was called but tabled when the director was not available; the commission said the item will be placed on a future agenda. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that passed by voice vote.

The NIMS data provided an operational snapshot of training activity; staff did not present additional performance metrics or deadlines for follow-up.
