The Milford City Planning and Zoning Board approved a minor front-projection variance that will allow homeowner Jeff Adelino to build a front porch at 109 Green Meadow Road.

Adelino described the porch as 6 feet deep and 13 feet wide and said the work is part of a broader remodel, not a rebuild. The board heard no opposition, closed the hearing and approved the request to vary the front projection to 33.5 feet where 36 feet is permitted.

Next steps: Adelino may proceed with permit steps to construct the porch consistent with the approved variance.
