Staff said IDOT will complete the work next year and that the village's estimated cost share is approximately $61,500; the cost was not included in the current budget but the road improvement fund has sufficient balance to cover it.

Alongside the IGA, the committee approved an ordinance adding additional no-parking streets in the area (1955 Cheltenham Place) and removing a previously approved no-parking designation that was no longer needed (1949 Whittingham Lane). Staff described the requests as similar to recent handicap-parking adjustments.

Active Transportation Advisory Committee in review: The committee noted but did not approve an ordinance to create an Active Transportation Advisory Committee; staff said that item remains "in review" and will return to the committee in January.

Next steps: Staff will finalize the IGA with IDOT and allocate the estimated local share from the road improvement fund when project schedules and exact costs are confirmed.
