District staff presented a renovation update for Bob Court Way, describing interior and exterior improvements intended to improve student safety, comfort and instructional space. Brad Edders and district facilities staff showed photos of new landscaping, upgraded cafeteria furnishings and flooring, a new sound system and large display, new AC pads and a one-to-ten classroom bathroom with a changing table.
The presenters highlighted safety improvements including magnetic door locks to prevent student elopement, an HD intercom system that can broadcast prerecorded emergency messages and flashing lights, and improved courtyard circulation with sidewalks and basketball goals. New outdoor classrooms with picnic tables and Wi‑Fi were installed to support outdoor instruction when weather permits. The facilities team said additional work is planned for the front office, library and gym in coming phases.
Board members and district leadership praised the facilities staff, named several individuals (Adam, Janet, TMAC, Eric) for their work, and expressed appreciation for coordination across campus safety and operations. No additional bond measures or capital funding actions were proposed at the meeting.
