During opening procedures on Dec. 4, the Mobile GR Commission approved the meeting agenda and the Nov. 12 minutes by voice votes after motions and seconds were recorded.

The commission then moved to nominations for leadership. Chad Patton was nominated for chair; members provided a second and the motion was approved by voice vote. "So your motion passes... this is your new chair," a member announced following the vote.

For vice chair, a nomination was made for Chanel Wright and members approved the nomination by voice vote.

The meeting record does not include a formal roll-call tally for either leadership vote; staff announced the results during the meeting.
