The Lakeville Select Board voted Nov. 25 to hire Arthur Wright as a seasonal emergency highway operator and snow‑plow operator at step 6, $27.25 per hour. Town Administrator Andrew told the board Wright holds a heavy motor equipment/CDL license and will be hired above entry pay because of prior experience.

A motion to hire Wright was made, seconded and approved by roll call. The board noted the town’s difficulty recruiting CDL‑licensed drivers and welcomed an additional operator ahead of winter season operations.

Implementation: The position is assigned to the Department of Public Works and the hire is effective immediately per the vote.
