Helotes council authorizes mayor, city attorney to negotiate interim and permanent city administrator contracts

Helotes — After a closed session under Texas Government Code provisions for attorney consultation, personnel matters and economic development negotiation, the Helotes City Council returned to open session and voted to authorize the mayor and city attorney to negotiate and execute contracts for both an interim and a permanent city administrator.

The council also ratified prior directions given to the city administrator to complete certain operations and to obtain documentation from the Internal Revenue Service.
