Council hears Environmental Advisory Board applicant, recognizes youth commission member and mentions naming of chapel

The council invited applicants and guests to speak during the meeting.

An Environmental Advisory Board applicant said this would be their second time applying to the board and described momentum and motivation among current board members to accomplish work. Council members thanked the applicant for applying and encouraged continued engagement.

Later in the meeting a council member publicly thanked Mike Collette for his work on preserving the airbase chapel. The presiding official said, "We're gonna name that the Dan Moore Chapel when we relocated," signaling the council's intent to use that name for the relocated facility.

The council also acknowledged a student in the audience, Will Bertrand, who was identified as a junior and a member of the Mayor's Youth Commission.

The meeting closed with holiday remarks and a motion to adjourn.
