The Sherman County Board of Commissioners approved three easement compensation agreements to allow county crews to access private property and repair a bridge on Road 32.
The chair presented the agreements covering the Kraft family and two other property owners; a commissioner moved to approve compensation agreements for three landowners for the Road 32 bridge repair and the board voted unanimously to adopt the agreements.
Later in the meeting the county clerk presented a set of tax‑roll corrections related to severed mineral interests and other past recording issues. Commissioners reviewed the explanation that some mineral interests had sold or expired and that previous tax records did not fully reflect ownership changes; the board moved, seconded and approved the tax‑roll corrections as a final cleanup of affected records.
Ending: Commissioners approved both the easement compensation agreements and the tax‑roll corrections by voice vote and instructed staff to process supporting documentation and signatures.
