Yellowstone County commissioners approve claims, amend agenda to remove Laurel agreement

At its Dec. 31 special meeting the Yellowstone County Board of County Commissioners read and approved claims numbered 25078 through 25084 and approved an amended consent agenda by voice vote. The clerk read the claim numbers into the record and a commissioner moved to approve the claims; the motion was seconded and approved.

The chair moved to amend the agenda to remove Finance item 4A, described in the meeting as the annual agreement between the city of Laurel and the Laurel Urban Fire Service Area for fiscal year 2025. The chair said the item would return to the board after negotiations; the transcript records that Derek Yeager, identified as fire warden, will negotiate language with the city of Laurel and bring the item back for consideration.

Following those actions Commissioner Osland moved to approve the amended consent agenda and to place the filed items to file; that motion was seconded and approved. No public comments were offered on county business before adjournment.
