Land bank staff report mowing-rate extension, executed listing agreements and completed council appointments

Speaker 2 updated the board on several operational items. She said Cutting Edge agreed to hold its mowing rates for one more year, extending the current service arrangement into 2025. She also reported that listing agreements approved earlier by the board have been signed and returned to listing agents, covering a six-month term from Dec. 1 through May 31.

Speaker 2 said City Council appointments to the Land Bank board for 2025 have been completed. The board then discussed the April meeting date in light of Good Friday and the Civic Center closure; staff reported the building authority has reserved alternative dates (the Friday prior or the Thursday before) and will place a reservation on the calendar. Speaker 1 suggested April 11 as an option, but no formal change was adopted and staff said no board action was needed.

Speaker 2 confirmed the media are notified of meetings every month and noted that Jessica will return to the office on Monday; Speaker 2 said this was her last meeting for the year and the board thanked her for her service.
