Administrators presented the district’s August financial report and the state accountability report released Aug. 27, and trustees acknowledged both updates.
On finance, the presenter listed general‑fund expenditures for the reporting period of approximately $742,850.48 and explained payroll returned to a full cycle with the start of school. Instructional payroll and related totals were summarized along with percentages of budget remaining across instruction, instructional support, administration, maintenance, transportation and lunch funds. Monthly revenue highlights included a foundation payment of approximately $403,400.97 and special‑education reimbursement of $31,017.27.
On accountability, the presenter said the district was rated as "meeting expectations" under the Wyoming Accountability and Education Act. Growth measures and equity indicators were described as meeting or exceeding targets, while high‑school achievement on statewide assessments lagged; the presenter noted the district’s 4‑year graduation rate was 100% last year and that exceeding the state cutpoint (94%) drove the high rating in graduation credentials.
Trustees asked clarifying questions about specific metrics and the presenter cited WYTAP, ACT and other indicators that feed into the state model. Board members thanked staff for the work and had no outstanding questions following the presentations.
