The Board of Supervisors approved a CAO-recommended holiday closure schedule on Dec. 2 covering several county departments for the late-December holiday period. The resolution lists department-specific closure days (exhibit A) and explains how employees will use accrued administrative or vacation time for some closure days; departments also requested limited lobby closures on certain dates. Supervisors asked the CAO to explicitly include Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 in posted schedules so the public will clearly see those days as closed.
