Grandview Heights adopted a cybersecurity program Monday to comply with House Bill 96, which requires municipalities to document cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Mayor Kearns said the work to codify the city's program was substantial and that staff has scheduled trainings for directors. Director John Maxwell confirmed the program covers many of the best practices the city already follows and that it must take effect by Jan. 1.

Council moved and approved Resolution 38-2025 on a roll-call vote. Administration said it will continue training and implementation work as required.
