Staff presented resolution 1567-2025 to authorize removal of barricades, gates and other impediments on Emerson Drive between Rain Plantation and Grace Magnolia subdivisions. Mister Connor said the interconnection was created to provide a secondary access route to allow emergency vehicles and evacuations if the primary entrance was blocked. The council opened public participation (no comments) and then adopted the resolution on a unanimous roll-call vote.

The resolution directs staff to proceed with removal/alteration of the impediments at the identified location as shown in the attached exhibit; a subdivision plat and location map were provided as exhibit material in the packet. No public conditions or amendments on the council floor were recorded.
