The Infrastructure Committee advanced several procurement items during the meeting.

Parks staff asked approval to move a purchase order for two Toro Groundmaster 4000 mowers — total $193,082.60 — to finance and the consent agenda; the committee approved the motion. Parks staff said the purchase is in the current budget and that the machines offer articulating decks and potential attachments (plow, broom) that increase utility.

Engineering staff and the committee also discussed an on-call annual maintenance ITB (ITB 206-005). Staff described the scoring approach (average unit-cost analysis across line items) and recommended awarding the annual maintenance contract to Abrahams Construction based on unit costs and past work. The committee moved the award recommendation to finance for consideration on the consent agenda.

Both motions — the purchase order to Simpson Norton Corporation for the mowers and the ITB award recommendation to Abrahams Construction — were advanced to finance/consent as committee items.

Next steps: finance committee will consider the consent items and, if placed on consent, they will proceed through the council approval process.
