City staff presented the final plat for Arbor Bluff third edition and council approved Resolution R2025‑126 to finalize the subdivision.
Mr. Kerski described the site, noted much of the development has already been built, and said the final phase will create 68 single‑family lots consistent with the previously approved PUD and preliminary plat. He described preserved wooded areas and trails, recent removal of diseased trees, and a bridge abutment that will be completed by the developer. “This final plat creates 68 single family lots,” he said, and staff and Shakopee Public Utilities indicated support for the request.
Councilors asked about creek and drainage improvements near Arbor Bluff Creek; staff explained prior creek work and holding ponds included in AUAR plans designed to prevent roadway flooding. Councilor Lara moved to approve Resolution R2025‑126; the motion was seconded and adopted by voice vote.
The resolution approves the final plat as consistent with prior approvals and allows the developer to finish the last phase of the subdivision. Staff indicated the bridge and trail infrastructure will be installed by the developer in accordance with easements the city obtained earlier.
