Operations updated the committee that a stormwater‑management project at Henderson Field is nearly finished: Pennoni engineers and the township installed piping along River Road and Forest Drive, topsoil and seeding are underway and crews will finish final pipe connections and install an approximately 60‑foot receiver. Operations said the work should be finished within about a week to 10 days and is expected to improve playability of the field.

Separately, operations reviewed surplus and obsolete equipment removed during recent renovations and replacements, including food‑service line pieces, ovens removed from SRS and the middle school, woodshop machinery taken out for safety reasons (band saw, wood lathe, radial arm saw, pedestal sander, mortiser, shaper, planer), and vehicle frames (a rusted Chevy Blazer). Staff said they have held some items for six months in case of internal reuse but now plan to document items and post them on Municibid for public sale; some heavily deteriorated items will be scrapped.

Operations explained Municibid’s process: staff post photos and descriptions, buyers pay a fee (percentage) and the vendor issues a check directly to the district; vendors coordinate pickup with operations. Board members asked about environmental disposal and recycling; operations said vendors recycle scrapped vehicles and salvageable parts.

No votes were taken; operations will bring formal surplus‑disposition items to the board for approval and list the items on Municibid per procedure.
