Marvin Hardy said Redmond Public Works is addressing fall leaf accumulation with two street sweepers and a LeafVac truck and asked residents to take simple steps so crews can work effectively.

"Redmond Public Works tackles this issue with 2 street sweepers and employs our LeafVac truck," Hardy said. He urged residents to move cars off the street to allow sweepers full access to the curb and to avoid blowing leaves, yard waste or other debris into the street.

Hardy also asked residents to properly dispose of litter and waste to reduce the amount city crews need to sweep up, and to report excessive debris or drainage issues through the city service request system.
