The Wayne County Audit Committee briefly paused its audit business to introduce Kristen Prestel, a new staff member in the Office of the Auditor General.

Prestel said she started a couple of weeks ago and described her prior work at the Treasury Office of Inspector General and her education at the University of Michigan, where she earned an undergraduate degree and a master in public policy. "I only started a couple weeks ago," Prestel said, describing her previous four years at the Treasury inspector general's office.

The committee welcomed Prestel, then returned to scheduled business; no public comments were received before adjournment.
