Columbiana submits OPWC application for Middle Street sewer project

City Manager Lance told the council Nov. 4 the city submitted an application to the county for Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) funding to support the Middle Street sewer line project.
“We submitted an application for OPWC funding to the county for the Middle Street sewer line project,” Lance said, thanking the county and Omega for their help and staff members Bryce and Jesse for assistance on the application.
Lance said the OPWC process is lengthy; the city will continue to track the application and report back as the process moves forward. No award decision was announced at the Nov. 4 meeting.
