Representatives from Main Street Guymon and the Guymon Chamber of Commerce gave monthly reports on downtown activities and upcoming events.

Main Street noted downtown promotions and presented a scholarship to Guymon High School senior Sofia Hernandez. Hernandez described plans to study art and psychology, and said she planned to become an art therapist. "I plan to be an art therapist and get a double major of art and psychology at OBU," she said.

Chamber Director Aaron reported on small-business season promotions running Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, which include a receipt-based entry drawing, and invited council to the Home for the Holidays Light Festival opening night on Dec. 1. He asked about sponsorships for a holiday train; council and the Chamber discussed coordination with the Lions Club and merchants.

Ending: Chamber and Main Street thanked the city public works and volunteers for event support and encouraged attendance at upcoming holiday events.
