Pickens County Board approves agenda, consent items and personnel actions

The Pickens County Board of Education met Feb. 13, 2025 and approved the meeting agenda, the consent agenda, a personnel action report and the FY2025 superintendent evaluation instrument by voice vote.

Board members moved and seconded each routine item and the chair called for the voice votes. The board’s consent agenda included financial reports, minutes of prior meetings, surplus and out‑of‑state student trips, among other routine items; the personnel action report was approved as presented.

The board heard staff reports on literacy initiatives and MTSS, a monthly financial update and construction and operations work across the district before adjourning. No requests for public participation were received for the meeting.

The meeting was called back to order and adjourned at 6:36 p.m.
