County facilities update: server replaced, heating unit scheduled for repair; surplus furniture set for auction

Commissioners reviewed facilities and maintenance updates at the Jan. 10 meeting. County staff said Cornerstone had replaced a courthouse server earlier in the week and that one heat motor/unit would be replaced the coming Monday or Tuesday.

The court heard that the trustee builder project is complete, though some items have not yet been moved into the new space. Staff described storage plans in the old jail/shop and said refinishing work on benches, chairs and pews had produced good results. One staff member reported 24 pallets of filing cabinets wrapped and ready for auction; additional cabinets were stored on upper floors.

No action was taken; staff will schedule the heating replacement and proceed with moving and refinishing tasks as space allows.
