Town Administrator Laurie Radapula presented the HealthTrust renewal package to the board. HealthTrust reported an overall medical-premium rate change of +11.3%, dental +4.4% and short-term disability +5%. Radapula told the board the increases reflect broader market trends and HealthTrust's estimates show the trust is outperforming many industry benchmarks despite the rise in premiums.

After brief discussion, a board member moved to authorize the town administrator to sign the renewal documents. The board approved the motion by voice vote (aye) and ratified the town's enrollment under the renewed HealthTrust terms.

The administrator and finance staff will complete the formal renewal paperwork and update the town payroll and benefits Ledger to reflect the new premiums.
