The Margate Community Redevelopment Agency approved a second amendment extending its agreement with GAI Consultants Inc. through March 10, 2026, to continue work on the CRA plan update.

At the Jan. 15, 2025 meeting staff presented the amendment to extend the term of the consultant agreement. The resolution directs staff to continue with the existing consultant team for additional time to complete the plan update work.

Board members moved and seconded the resolution and, after a brief roll call, recorded unanimous approval among present members: Board member Simone, Board member Schwartz, Vice Chair Casciano and Chair Rosano voted “yes.” No public speakers addressed this item during the meeting.

The resolution’s text as presented placed the extended term through March 10, 2026. Additional financial terms of the amendment were not specified in the meeting record.
