Winchester Board of Architectural Review names Barton Shastler chair, confirms Packard as vice chair

The Winchester City Board of Architectural Review elected Barton Shastler as chair and confirmed Vice Chair Packard as vice chair at its February meeting.

The change followed a nomination from a board member and a second; the board then voted verbally by saying “aye.” “Motion carried,” the chair noted after the vote.

Board members discussed whether the appointments should be interim or permanent before the formal nomination. The board also confirmed its meeting schedule and moved on to citizen comments and the agenda for the night.
