The Super Neighborhood Alliance approved corrected minutes from its December meeting and heard the nominating committee's proposed slate for 2025 officers, but the group deferred the officer election until the February meeting to comply with notice requirements in the Alliance bylaws.

A member raised a point of order saying Article VI, Section 2(c)(1) of the bylaws requires 30 days’ notice before a meeting where elections are held and that members must be invited to submit nominations. The nominating committee said it had presented a slate in December and that Philip Salerno had expressed interest in serving as chair and Leticia Grant as vice chair. The committee said the formal vote would occur in February, which members accepted as satisfying the 30‑day notice requirement.

Despite the procedural dispute, the assembled membership moved to approve the December minutes after a motion and second. A hand‑count reported by staff recorded 20 votes in favor and the minutes were approved; officers asked staff to note the member objection and the presence of a continuing point of order in the record.

The nominating committee announced the slate: Philip Salerno for chair and Leticia Grant for vice chair. Nominations from the floor were opened and, after a short period, closed. The Alliance confirmed it will hold the election at its next meeting and said members can request copies of the bylaws ahead of the vote.

No formal policy changes were made at this meeting; the decision to postpone the election was presented as a direction to preserve compliance with the organization’s bylaws.
