Tulare County approves consent calendar; supervisor highlights KingView wellness center contract

The Tulare County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the consent calendar, covering items 4 through 61, with one supervisor absent at the vote.

Before the vote a supervisor asked to comment on item 29, a contract with KingView for the Visalia and Porterville wellness centers. The supervisor praised the wellness centers’ services to clients and noted early neighborhood controversy over the Visalia site had not materialized. “I just want to highlight this particular one with KingView for our Visalia and Porterville wellness centers. I think the wellness centers provide great services to our clients ... there have not been any issues with it, and there's only been good things in providing good service for, again, our clients,” the supervisor said.
