Jenks Planning Commission adopts 2025 meeting calendar with July date change

The Jenks Planning Commission on Dec. 5 approved its 2025 calendar, shifting regular meetings from the third Thursday to the first Thursday of each month (the first Thursday following the City Council’s first meeting) and moving the July meeting date off the Independence Day holiday.

Planning staff noted the calendar aligns meetings with council scheduling and accounts for federal and school breaks. The July meeting was revised from Thursday, July 3 to Wednesday, July 9 after commissioners expressed concerns about the holiday week. The motion to approve the adjusted calendar passed by unanimous voice vote.

Staff said they would circulate the final calendar and noted the change to commissioners for scheduling. No further substantive policy items were attached to the calendar vote.
