The board voted to join the existing low-voltage wiring contract between Clearline Networks and the Clarksville–Montgomery County School System, a contract district staff said the district has relied on for about 15 years.

In presenting the item, district staff said Clearline’s work and pricing have been satisfactory over prior years and recommended joining the contract. A motion to approve joining the Clearline contract was made and seconded; the board voted in favor and the motion carried.

District counsel and staff confirmed Clearline contract terms had been reviewed and that the district’s legal review was complete prior to the vote. The item was introduced at the planning session earlier in the month and returned for approval at this meeting.

Action taken: the board approved joining the existing low-voltage wiring contract with Clearline Networks; staff will proceed under the terms of the vendor agreement.
