City staff told the Saratoga Springs City Council that procurement for the Veterans Memorial Park Fieldhouse general construction and the fieldhouse electrical work has concluded and contracts have been approved.

The council was informed that MGJ Construction was awarded the general-construction contract for the Veterans Memorial Park Fieldhouse and that the electrical RFP (2025-52) award has completed its procurement process. Staff said both awards have completed required procedures and are approved.

Council members also noted a separate agenda item to sign an addendum with CHA Consulting to extend time related to the Veterans Park project. The accounts and public-works staff said the plumbing package will be rebid because no bids were received, and that a capital-budget amendment will be needed to fund the rebid when it is brought forward.

Contracts and contract-signing authorizations were presented as routine procurement follow-ups; staff said the items will be on the upcoming meeting consent agenda for formal authorization and contract execution.
