The Revere License Commission on April 16 approved a one‑day malt and wine license and an entertainment permit for a field tournament hosted by the Revere Chamber of Commerce at the Susan B. Anthony Field.

Chamber representatives Alexandra Pomponio and Bridal Porzio told the commission the June 21 event (rain date June 22) is the tournament’s second year, expected attendance 50 to 100 people. Murray’s Tavern will operate a beer garden; organizers said alcohol transport will be handled by a Murray’s owner, IDs will be checked and bracelets will be used to control service.

Commissioners sought clarity on timing of alcohol transport and service; organizers said beer and wine will be transported to the site up to an hour before the event and service will begin when the event opens (roughly 10:30–11:00 a.m.). The commission modified the application to limit entertainment to amplified speakers or a microphone and possibly a DJ, noting residential neighbors and the field location.

After commissioners recorded no opposition, a motion and second carried and the license was approved with the entertainment limitation. The license will be exercised at Susan B. Anthony Field on June 21, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain date June 22.
