The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency voted March 31 to approve a letter of support for a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) competitive grant application from Saint Lucie County Area Transit for buses and bus facilities. The board moved and approved the letter by roll call.

Staff presented the request as a routine endorsement of Saint Lucie County's FTA application; commissioners did not ask substantive questions before the vote. The roll call recorded Commissioners Johnson, Taylor, Broderick, Gaines and Chairwoman Hudson voting yes.

No additional conditions or funding commitments from the FPRA were recorded in the meeting minutes; the action was limited to authorizing staff to send a support letter for the county's FTA competitive grant application.
