Keizer resident Tammy Kunz promotes National Night Out partnership with Southeast Neighborhood Association

Tammy Kunz, a Keizer resident, used the committee’s public-comment slot July 3 to promote a National Night Out event planned for Aug. 5.

Kunz told the committee, “We are partnering with Southeast Neighborhood Association for National Night Out, August 5. Everything you need to know is on our flyer.” She described the event as a community gathering “set up like a farmer's market” with vendors donating time and resources and asked attendees to contact organizers if they had questions.

Kunz said this is the first time her group has partnered with the Southeast Neighborhood Association and that organizers expect the partnership to continue annually. She also provided contact information for distribution to other neighborhood associations and promised to send email follow-ups to staff.

Ending: Committee members acknowledged the announcement and asked staff to share the flyer in the city newsletter and with other neighborhood groups.
