Staff reported that binding bids for the district sports-court project are due Thursday, Oct. 30, and that bid packages will be opened after the deadline.

Chris (staff member) said contractors have submitted questions and the staff issued an addendum clarifying plan details for bidders. Committee members said they had received two bids and that inquiries suggest there might be as many as four respondents. Chris said he will open the bid packages and provide an update at the November Parks and Recreation board meeting.

No award or contract was made at this meeting; committee members asked staff to report the number of responsive bids and a staff recommendation after the bid opening.
