Recreation Advisory Board approves minutes and adopts 2026 meeting schedule

The Recreation Advisory Board took three formal procedural votes at its Sept. 15 meeting.

The board approved the minutes from the prior meeting after a motion and second; the chair called for the vote and members responded "Aye," and the motion carried, according to the meeting transcript.

Later, the board voted to adopt the proposed 2026 meeting schedule. The schedule sets meetings for the third Monday of the month in February, April, July, September and October, and moves the usual January meeting to the first Monday in February because the council chambers are heavily booked in January. A motion to approve the 2026 schedule received a second and passed on a voice vote; the transcript records the board responding "Aye" and the chair saying "Motion passes. The dates are adopted."

The board then approved a motion to adjourn; that motion was seconded and the meeting was closed.
